Today some of my cell owners received e-mails with a following message:
"You have purchased sectors on a virtual world map at
www.moneywillchangetheworld.com.
Now we offer you to purchase sectors on a virtual map of Antarctica at
www.[censored].com.
Sorry if you are not interested in this offer."
Hey, it's all great, but I'd like you to know that I have nothing to do with
that website despite the fact that it looks very similar. I'm not against copycat
websites, they only prove that my website is successful! However I'm totally
against the use of my website's name for spamming purposes.

Mail, Mail and more Mail...
It doesn't give me much time to reply to all emails. Stop! I think, days of rest is
necessary for me.

Another day, another cell sold!
Another cell sold today, so I'm beginning to think that everyone will just buy one
cell. I think it should be obvious that a larger place spanning several adjacent
cells is significantly more effective than several small cells spread out. But
it's probably too early days to do a conclusion.

Another cell sold! Also got some feedback.
Sold another cell today. Selling cells is a lot of fun.
Getting feedback too: I think most people are liking this crazy idea. I get
more and more questions from people asking how to realize their ideas, other
questions as well. It's great! People are liking my site. :)
I'm always open to good ideas. Let me know if you have
one.

Introduction
My name is Andrey Veprikov. I'm 28, I live in St.Petersburg, Russia with my wife
and a little daughter. My biggest dream has always been to have our own house. So
here I'm trying to realize my dream.
I took the world map, cleared it out and divided it into cells, each cell marked
with the country it belongs to in real life. Anybody can purchase any number of
cells in accordance with the specific rules.
The idea reminds me of chess as a tool to settle territorial arguments. In the
future I expect that my site will resemble the ancient computer program called
"Life" where there was always motion, cells were giving birth to new cells
or dying. Low activity of people of some countries may lead to irreversible
loss of their territories. This can happen when all
available cells of a certain country are purchased by neighboring nations. So the
only way to prevent the World from becoming one big country is to charge for
cells, not give them away freely.
I know people like crazy ideas. If this captures people's imaginations and people
check out the site, then the cells on the map will have value - and people will
buy them (to display their ads etc). Customers can associate advertisement with
each purchased cell. It consists of an image, short description and a link to a
web site. The cell contents will be displayed on the site permanently and will
not be changed unless requested by the cell owner. The owner also has an option to
resell his cells. This site will be kept up for 5 years from the date of the last
change be it a change of a cell content or resale of a cell.
I think it will be very interesting to see how the World is evolving as well as
what it looks like when all cells are sold.
Please read FAQ for all the answers you'll ever need, and
don't hesitate to buy some cells!

It's launched...
Hmm... Out of a bad thing has come something good. Yesterday's problems at my web
hosting provider prompted me to start this blog. I'm hoping there will be less
problems but more posts.
